On stage at Wokingham Festival - a conversation between sculptor and festival director
It's been wonderful to be welcomed into the community of Wokingham since starting the project to build a public sculpture for this borough in the South of England.
One thing that has become a bigger part of my life since specialising in public sculpture is public speaking! I was invited to do a quick talk in conversation with the Wokingham Festival's Director Stan Hetherington, at the recent music festival, challenging me to explain the project in just a few minutes while the bands changed over. We had a wonderful introduction by Andy Jones of BBC Berkshire radio.
Above is the video of our conversation and a lovely crowd.
Note to self - be less blurry next time you are on stage!
