BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE AND HIDDEN WALKWAYS
This is an anonymous story collected from the public as part of THE WOKINGHAM ARC PROJECT.
I am a commuter to Wokingham. I visit for work. I’ll pop in and out but I know that those who have lived here a while think it’s great, up-and-coming and vibrant. There are lots of great schools in the area. It is a close-knit community.
There are hundreds of kites in the area, which is striking when you’re new to it. Having lived in London before, these kites make you feel like you’re in the wilderness a bit.
What makes me feel alive in my locale are its beautiful countryside and hidden walkways that are fun for families.
Home is my happy place and a sanctuary. Somewhere you’re happy to be with family and to invite those you love. Home in safety and security. Berkshire is my new home. There is so much to do and I’m keen to explore more.
Hopefully the young people don’t leave Wokingham behind. I hope it remains vibrant and a place to bring up families.
