The yellow Ribbon Art Exhibition - this exhibition featured inspiring artworks from the students and mentees that I was lucky to work with during my time as Artist Mentor at Changi Prison, Singapore, in collaboration with Singapore Art Museum. Thank you to South China Morning post for also featuring the collaborative artwork by Barry Yeow, Kim Whye Kee and myself which was subsequently commissioned by Yellow Ribbon and exhibited in the Glass Box at Singapore Art Museum.
EXPRESSING HOPE FOR THE FUTURE THROUGH ART
The Yellow Ribbon Community Art Exhibition 2017 showcases 108 art pieces by inmates from the Visual Arts Hub (VAH) and Changi Women’s Prison. The showcase offers visitors a glimpse into the rehabilitation journey of inmates and ex-offenders and their hopes for a new beginning.
