Conceived by artist Nicola Anthony as a platform for research into the stories, social memory and oral history of our global community, the Human Archive Project is the cumulative product of Nicola's creative journey with strangers' voices so far. It maps different types of human experience via this anonymous online portal as well as personal interviews.
The Human Archive Project has become a catharsis, a place for difficult admissions and sharing secrets.
Unexpected Happiness is the current focus of research, a project in collaboration with Keepers.sg.
The new colourful text sculptures created for the Playground of Infinite Happiness at the National Design Centre are a continued narrative from the previous works at Singapore Art Museum, illuminating the ongoing journey towards happiness. They will be featured at the National Design Centre starting in July.
