A personal note...from an artist in lockdown
Dear friends and supporters around the world,
This was me in Jan, working on a project in Bangkok before rushing home to self isolate. Looking back to the very start of all this, it seems like a world away.
I've been absent from your inboxes since then as life got a bit overwhelming for us all.
What has happened since then?
I have set up my home-art-studio, helped by my two furry 'studio assistants' (cats), and with the encouragement of you my wonderful supporters and my husband (who now puts up with all sorts of paint explosions and metal dust in our house), I have continued to produce art.
I have been supporting worthy causes wherever I can, (more on this soon!) and launched a series of 'behind the scenes videos' (listed below) which I am thrilled to say are now being featured on two international platforms: Affordable Art Fair and Trebuchet Magazine.
That's a little update for now. I include some further reading links below.
There is much more to catch up on of course - including a sculpture in a palace in Myanmar, the end of my solo show In Ireland (which thankfully finished before all this), and the acquisition of 3 of my pieces by the Ingram Collection of British Art in April.
But, as your time is precious I will save the details for a future email.
I wish you good physical and mental health,
Nicola

Buy my art for €200
I have made the #ArtistSupportPledge, to offer art for €200 during the pandemic, & for every €1000 made I will buy another artist’s work. Help me continue this generous cycle here.
